New to electric bikes?
Do I need a licence, tax or insurance?
No. Every electric bike we sell is an EAPC: assistance stops at 15.5mph, the motor is 250W continuous, and the rider must be 14 or over. That makes it legally a bicycle — no licence, no registration, no road tax, no compulsory insurance. The rules in full
How far will one go on a charge?
Further than most people ride in a day, and the honest answer depends on gradient, your weight and which assistance mode you use. Battery size in watt-hours is the number that compares between bikes, and we put it on every card above. How to work out your own range
What does the torque figure mean?
Torque is the shove you feel the instant a climb bites. Every legal e-bike is 250W, so wattage tells you nothing — torque is what separates them. Ours run from 75Nm to 120Nm. Torque explained
What does it cost to run?
Around 12p to charge a 500Wh battery at current UK prices. The real costs are chains, tyres, pads and eventually the battery. The full numbers
How does it arrive, and can I send it back?
Around 90% assembled on a specialist bike courier — front wheel, bars, pedals and seatpost to fit, about twenty minutes. Thirty days to change your mind, unridden outdoors, for a full refund. Free delivery to UK mainland. Delivery and returns
Which frame size am I?
Send us your height and inside leg and we will check it against the manufacturer’s own geometry chart and confirm in writing before you order. Ask us
Nothing matches that combination.
Not sure which of these?
Not sure which one? Two questions for a tent, three for a bike, and we narrow it down.
