Free delivery to UK mainland addresses with no minimum spend. The figures below are the ones actually configured in our checkout, not a rounded summary of them.
Where we deliver, and what it costs
| Zone | Method | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Scottish Highlands & Islands | Flat rate | £29.95 |
| Northern Ireland | Flat rate | £24.95 |
| UK Mainland | Free shipping | Free |
The Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland cost more because they genuinely cost us more. We would rather charge those two zones honestly than raise every price to hide it.
Large and heavy items
Not everything ships the same way. Every product sits in one of four despatch classes, and the class is what sets the delivery cost you see at checkout:
| Class | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Bulky | Tents, large packs — oversized parcel |
| Letter | Gloves, hats, base layers — fits a large letter or small parcel |
| Oversized | Bikes — pallet or specialist bike courier |
| Standard | Jackets, sleeping bags, most camp kit |
Bikes and electric bikes go on a specialist bike courier and arrive around 90% assembled — front wheel, bars, pedals and seatpost to fit. Allow longer than a parcel; we will confirm a date by email.
Returns
Thirty days from the day it arrives, for any reason, provided it is unused and unworn and in a condition we could sell it in again. That is more than the 14 days the Consumer Contracts Regulations require, and the clock runs from delivery, not from when you ordered.
Clothing and sizing
Size is the most common reason clothing comes back. We do not reprint the makers’ size charts here, because they revise them and a stale chart is worse than none — send us your measurements and we will check them against the current chart the same working day. Try it on indoors, over the layers you would actually wear it with. Once it has been worn outside we cannot resell it and cannot accept it back.
Bikes
A bike can be returned unridden within 30 days. Once it has been ridden outdoors it is a used bike and we can only take it back if something is wrong with it. Check the frame size guide against your height before you order — that is what it is there for.
Faulty items
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected by anything above. If something is faulty, tell us and we will sort it: repair, replacement or refund, and we pay the return postage.
